Hey guys, long time no browse, but back to show off something I've wanted for a good while now... well the silver version, I didn't know this one existed! It's an AWA G58250, as opposed to the more well known but still crazy rare silver 2G58250. This one came out of a local radio station where it had been used for many years prior to their setup being converted to FM. I feel very lucky to have found it.
Wondering if anyone can share any more info on this model? I've never seen another like it.

Thanks guys, excited to get this one restored and going.
No David, this one has sat in a shed for 10yrs and was in a local radio station since the 60's before that.

Yes, it's actually a lot heavier than a 2G, also think it uses valves as power rectification as opposed to diodes, that's the main difference as I understand it.
Was hoping I could get it serviced with you sometime Rob, it came with a manual and schematics.

Yeah someone added a toggle switch on there, cut the front panel around it and added rubber trim on the edges of the cutouts. I think it looks pretty cool so not too bothered by it.
