I'll never sell mine.
I investigated a mob that are making them in the USA but it worked out to an insane price with shipping and everything... not worth it

I'm planning to build one unless a real one falls into my lap.
But then again I'm stupid enough to try!

On a related note.

Check out this home brew DIY plate reverb using the back of an old filing cabinet for the plate (untensioned), a freely suspended unenclosed speaker for the driver, four piezos and a passive mixer enclosed in an old baking tin.

Now theoretically it probably shouldn't sound all that great, should it?

We have one - but it's going to be a nightmare to remove. How much hassle is it worth?

Ha ! Thats the third nightmare to remove plate That turned up
So far .
Easy to grab working plate in driving distance is a 2k thing

Downward from there .

I only want a couple because the neve has 4 emt remotes
And the original festival records plates are a nightmare to get out of roofs or have gone missing

That said i am already on another prospect in melbourne
So it might be a viable thing .

That said your only dumb enough to drive anyway further the 10 klm for a plate reverb
Once and i have done it a number of times !!
But now i have 4 remotes .. I feel an attack of stupid coming on again .
