Re: anyone got any Raindirk gear
Music Feeds Studio (formally Megaphon) in Sydney has a Raindirk desk.
I believe Midnight Oil put the console in there (and a number of other studio upgrades) when they recorded their Earth and Sun and Moon album there in '92.

Raindirks are great clean low noise consoles.
Megaphon bought the console on Midnight Oils producer Nick Launay's advice.
I believe MO paid for sessions upfront to enable Megaphon to upgrade console, add new control room and recording spaces.
The console that was delivered wasn't the one they ordered.
All modules were meant to have the extented EQ section with variable Q,
but when the console arrived it had the non variable Q eq module.
The distributor partially came to the party and gave Megaphon the Raindirk Mastering console with some variable modules, which were put into the recording console. I thought the variable modules sounded better.
I heard recently that Music Feeds has closed down, console might be on the market. Trackdown studio also have a bunch of LN2 modules.
