Space wanted in Melbourne for short term rent

Postby wez » Sat Jan 09, 2010 3:00 pm

hey all

i'm about to embark on mixing a record i've been working on for a while, we've set a deadline to have it finished by mid feb.

i'm well set up at home but due to various issues i am very, very keen to find a space where i can set up temporarily (probably from about now until mid feb). it doesn't have to be a dedicated studio facility but it would need to be secure, acoustically workable, and a minimum of around 15 sq metres (ie big enough for a small console, couple racks of outboard, two people etc).

alternatively if someone has a b-room with an analogue desk that they want to rent cheap during these quiet weeks, that would be of interest.

ideal location would be within a 15-20 minute radius of the CBD. we'd also be open to discussing a longer term arrangement - but our priority is to find a space where we can FOCUS on finishing this record.

please let me know if you have something or know of something,

cheers, wez

wez, how cheap? Do you need the space all day and night long or is, let's say, 10-12 hrs a day enough??
