I picked up an SSL Alphalink SX converter box the other week for a stupid cheap price. Just couldn't pass it up. I need to get some D-Sub to analog XLR cables, both ways... in/out... 24 channels in 3 groups of 8, Ta@#$% pin configuration.
Also need D-Sub to AES wired AES/EBU pin config.
Anyone know where I can get these? Custom or stock, doesn't really matter.

These have done us for years on wall boxes with plenty of use. Not exotic but sound fine and plenty hardy enough. Same configs as you want.

I won't have it all functional until around April, cash flow permitting. I got the unit for $2k. Just too good to let it go for 24 channels of ad/da plus 24 channels of AES i/o. It will mean I can give everything it's own, permanent input and output. No need to keep patching. I'd been looking for better converters for a long time. Was running MOTU and Mbox. The SSL represents the best bang for buck around I think. [/i]

I've got 24 channels worth of D-sub to 1/4" TRS that I don't need any more. It wouldn't be too hard to replace the TRS with XLR.

Thanks for the offer Geoff. I'm pretty useless with a soldering iron though, so go ahead Angus... all yours.
