Landmark LM3s - Did I Miss Something Special?

Hi - I had some passing interest in a set of Landmark LM3 monitors (ex-Sony Mastering) which finished on eBay last night (sold $520 for the pair):

Not sure if they caught the eye of anyone else here. With the mastering expertise around on the forum I just wondered if they were something special for that price (needed a hefty power amp to drive them though)....not seen Landmarks offered much at all before.

Thanks Otto - my highest bid was only $80 in any case before I totally forgot about the auction and got the "You were unsuccessful" email last night from eBay...... I was just curious about the reputation of the Landmark monitors as I'd not heard of them before.
