Rode Classic II MIC applications

The Classic II is not like the other over hyped Rode mics I have used. Although it does have problems with some sources, you notice it distorts at certain frequencies. Do I think it will work for a lot of uses yes. For any money it will work fine. Although out of the LDC mics I have owned not one of my super favs as your only LDC, as when it does not work it does not work. Where the M149 I had might not be the best although usable

Well on a personal note, I'm afraid to say that RODE can take every mic they've ever made and insert them sideways........................Freedman will never get one cent of my money.
