Yeah, US$500 then you need to pay them WUP when ever you upgrade your DAW program.
This is a lot cheaper TL Utilities

Gee, he's charging $75US for an iLok transfer fee.. ouch!!
Isn't the usual $25..
Look around, but you'll find they are 3 different programs, Meter, Tuner and Click. They are all very good.

Oh, I'm not after metering plugs really - I was looking thru AT #51 (which was linked to another thread in the DIY section) and re-read the VU article that Rob did - its also quoted on the JLM site as well.. I had just got a email from Waves the same day and it was more out if interest I posted the link.
Not only did # 51 have that VU, but a review of the PreSonus FaderPort which I also just picked up as well.. as well as a review on the SSL 4000 plugins.. Was certainly worth reopening the mag to check out a few things!!
One thing I DID notice was the great reduction in high end product advertising - i.e Legacy Audio, Front End and others who seem to no longer advertise in the mag.. seems there has been a steady decline lately!!

Also, they are included with PT8, so anyone planning on upgrading do not need to buy these separately.

Sometimes I'm equally baffled by many software developers...
Like WTF, have they heard of customer feedback!?
I have the same gripes with some of the iPhone features which are sadly sans from the updates time and time again...
I guess we can go one of two ways with it...
option (a) Lifes too short and lets get on with our lives.
option (b) Lets start a petition...
I'm going with option a for now.

Theres always an option c... Where does it end? Option d? e? We may need to utlise an alpha-numeric naming convention before too long... And what comes next?

Yeah, i believe i'll leave this can of worms to sit out in the sun and perhaps the seagulls will start swooping... I'll just kick back and dip my toes in the cool blue waters of indifference.
