please move this if its in the wrong place...

im after advice. has anyone actually used the new portico stuff. im thinking about getting the 5015 mic pre comp and the 5033 eq.
its for live and studio, nice and small and pretty powerful.

what does it sound like? it is replacing a vintech X81 and tubetech CL1B that are going back into the studio..permanently.. i really like both of these.

yes i know there totally different (no valves in the comp to start)..

any comments..

I used the pres when they first came out, I do remember they were quite descent but that was a while back.
The comp was used in a shootout about 2 years ago and faired well up there with the big $4k units.
For live they would be a killer and they hold their value.
