Just got it yesterday to try out, I'll let you all know what it's like. First impression........ very big on headroom.

Mike-E very cool
I have had a bit more time on Mike-E and can say it is a great piece of kit . The pre can be clean with a heap of gain but not sterile sounding. With the saturation drive you can add colour to the sound without sounding like a plugin.
The compressor, well it's a Distressor with a bit less control over the attack, release and ratio but basically all the usable setting. Then you have the added feature of the mix knob to give wet/dry of your selection..... very useful.
This is a winner if you want a pre/comp combination. I'll be saving up for one of these.
I only tried it on my vocals so far.
