I have 2 x K6 and 2 x Me66 mics
I sold 1 x K6 and 1 x ME66 mic and have 1 set left which I want to keep.
The problem is the K6 powered module cuts in and out and you use to twist it a bit and i would stay on. Now 1 year later it wont work at all but the light comes on when you switch it on using the battery.
Would this most likely be a dry solder joint?
I dont use this much and I dont want to pay big bucks in getting it fixed when the value if the mic and capsule is only around AUS$400-500.
Any suggestions?
Looks like its fix my Sennheiser day.
Cheers

I am not familiar with this mic (did a quick google search though) and when you say powered module. Is that the power supply unit? Isn't that just a phantom power unit? Have you tried it connected to a normal mixer and turn on phantom power on the mixer?
Did you try it with a battery instead of the power module?
