hey wez
here is an offer you cannot understand

work out what you think the tubes are worth
take them out of the desk store em till you sell them

give me the board at the fair price - minus the actual tubes and what the tubes are worth

and i have another heavy piece of stuff to put under my house without a power supply or tubes
that i can eventually get working in the not too distant future
and you get to sell the tubes and make some extra vovo money off me for what currently will never work out for you

i take the gamble it will work out for me - game on

understand ?

btw the tubes are the least of my concern with a project like that
and the trannies although of the highest order are australian , and for whatever reason that goes with that - near worthless

but to be honest i just love the colour of it :)
hell 10 into one tube mixer ...!
i havent had one of those since i sold the all tube neve desk years ago !

dude, i bought this thing for no other reason than i wanted... no, needed... to just look at it for a while... so i totally understand! it is just about the coolest looking thing i've ever seen and has been well worth the price i paid for it just as a decorative studio conversation piece!

anyway i like your thinking... i'll be in touch soon.

wez wrote:how does it go rick... "make me an offer i don't understand"?

let me get the tubes tested first, then we'll talk.

you guys do realise that the more interest i get, the less i want to sell it, right?

I'd say that Ricks interest alone is enough to possibly hold onto it!!

hey tim
relax on the images already
this forum does not support actual stored images just links to sites that store them , the little pix i post up ( and we can all do it ) are just a a thumbnail that doesnt chew host space .
sure i could post the hi res photos up and link them but i pay enough in time and money for the sites i have without compounding the problem by a bunch of photos added to daily by all our members
if you get a big photo linked from me i suggest you save it , because as soon as the host server figures out its over free size they take it down

if you want to post big pictures you can pay to put them where ever you like - or get them for free or whatever deal you can find , if you want to link them here hi rez so we can all see them even better .
i am sticking to the free thumbnails to get the idea of the post and keeping the forum simple
does that make sense

Its cool Rick - I'm not trying to make a big issue about it.
I just thought that there were problems with the links in the original posts.
I get your point about bandwidth though - understood.
