Cubase 5.5

Postby Chinagraf » Tue Jun 22, 2010 4:09 pm

Installed it this morning. Other than a few little system reconfigurations it all went smoothly. Multiple core support is awesome, it's like havin a new 'puter.
Still working through the new stuff, some I like some is a bit meh....video is super solid now, but only on Quicktime. H264 stuff goes like a bullet.
If you have a quad core and are using Cubase 5.1 jump on 5.5, it will freak you out. Just check your video card is compatible, it now uses opengl which may be a problem for
some older cards.

I'm on PC. I've heard about stability issues with 5.1 on Mac, but then you guys have logic, so us PC guys have to have something that works better....

Good from what I hear, but I've only heard that with 10.6 OS
