help needed with Aurora PT Mac and logic

Hi Turtlerockers

can anyone help with this

I am finally ditching my mix 3 pt system and G4 clunker (sounds like an old diesel)

and going to a new mac and i want to use my lynx aurora converters straight into the mac
i will be using logic and PT software (no hardware)

can anyone tell me what i need hardware wise on the mac and the lynx

Hi Mark,

If you're running PT HD then you need the HD link for the Aurora. Pro tools will see the Aurora as a 192 interface and then run it as a digidesign interface to run Logic (core audio). we run a HD3 with 2 Auroras for 32 I/O, best thing ever!

I can second that, PT HD2 here with lynx 16 and Apogee ad16 for 32 in 16 out all on the lynx HD interface and it speaks to Logic and Digital Performer etc flawlessly.
