Digital reverb is maths performed by a single purpose chip. All they've done is written a program that allows that same maths to be performed by other chips. They claim to have emulated the I/O sections as well so barring major fuck-up I'd imagine it would be indistinguishable to 99.9% of us.
2+2=4, no matter how you do the maths.

Actually what I would have wanted was the 224X, not the 224, sound quite different and I MUCH prefer the X and XL, but as I have a real one I am quite happy for now.
the 224X(L) and 480L are the classic flagship lexicons, the 224 (older white remote) and 200 are very cool in a vintage way and I understand their appeal, but they are not what we all wanted.
