Quad Eight Pre

Well I just bought my first piece of vintage gear, a pair of racked Quad 8 preamps with EQ MM312. I haven't received them or heard them, I bought them on pure reputation alone. But if they are as good or as close to the A-Designs Pacifica pres, I'm happy.
Just being checked out by Rob from Mixmasters

Anyone else got these, what do you think of them?

Everyone should have a bit of vintage kit.... just because....
Good on ya. Never hears em myself but i'm sure you wont be dissapointed.

I was recently talking to Tim Whitten about these, he is a huge fan and even runs stuff out through them when mixing. But I've never used them myself.

No worries guys as soon as I get it I'll let you all know. I really wasn't in the market for this but it came up and the deal was too good to let go. I've been told by a few people, these are next 1073.

i hope you love them as much as i loved them , i would have kept them if things had been different, just dont take them to bed with you people will ask questions
