Coles 4038 Mount

Postby Djembe » Thu Jan 31, 2013 11:30 am

I have acquired a Coles 4038 but it did not come with a mount. (I already have the XLR adaptor)). I have a Rycote Universal Mount which works, but I am wondering what everyone else uses. AEA sell one, but I think I'd rather pay a bit extra and get another Universal Mount which I can use on other mics.
Anyone have any other alternatives?

The 4038 comes with the XLR adapter & stand mount when you buy a new one.
Try looking at the Coles accessories page. You can probably buy/order the 4071b mic to stand adapter from the Australian distributor. (555 Music)
We used to keep them in stock when i worked for the previous distributor.

If you decide not to source the correct 4038 mount from Coles, then the universal suspension mount from AT (Audio Technica AT8410a) would be worth a look.
