We may be producing a handful of webisodes (3-minute episodes) for a wine competition that sees up and comers who are being mentored by top winemakers battling it out. Basically it will be taking place at the Espy basement in Melbourne, with a pop-up wine bar setup. So....
- - I'm looking for someone with their own gear (boom/portable recording) who has worked on location stuff before..
- - I'm also looking for a camera operator who has their own camera (or access to a GOOD camera, any REDs accessible?) so perhaps you work in a duo or know someone?
- - There will be anywhere between 5-10 webisodes shot (obviously across different dates). Probably 3-5 hours each time.
Think masterchef, but about wine and (much) less production value. But also a lot of fun.
There will be a budget, but I'm not sure what it will be yet as the client (sponsor) is still in discovery phase and just needs a ballpark. The client has specifically asked for it to be "RAW" however, so that suggests to me the budget won't be fantastic.
Re price, I'm not asking for favours, but I can't guarantee the budget will be awesome. What I could guarantee is if we do more of this I will use you because I don't have a go-to.
So if this is you or you know someone (or better, a duo: camera guy who is used to directing also & a sound recordist) can you please get in touch: david.spall@steakgroup.com or through here rather urgently.
I'm obviously reaching out here and thinking on my feet, so hopefully someone in this awesome community will see this.
Thanks!
Dave
