Hi-end mic shootout in Sydney

Postby Manning » Wed May 01, 2013 1:53 pm

We keep saying we'll do this, but it never happens.

My studio is much too far on the outskirts of town, so let's find someone more central.

My collection is humble, but I've got a few interesting mics that others might want to hear:

*Blue Bottle
*Blue Kiwi
*Bees Neez Tribute 1 (U47 "inspired")
*Bees Neez Tribute 2 (ELA M251 "inspired")
*Bees Neez Arabella
*Bees Neez Arabella GT

Anyone else interested? It's a good excuse for a TR gathering, if nothing else.

I just noted that a while back Gareth offered his fine facilities for the interface shootout.

He may still be willing on that front, and perhaps we could then roll the whole thing into a full-scale audio geek orgy.
