Maybe this is old news? The announcement was in May but confirmed today. I don't have any wireless mics myself but some here might find this useful.

Old news: been fighting the government regulator for years. Have already thrown out my transmitters and receivers.
D-band (660-685) is the only go zone now for us Entertainment types

yessss
but we will see.
most of the newer sures and sennys are CAPABLE of tuning into frequencies in the allowed band
but TECHNICALLY they will be illegal because they could tune into frequencies not allowed.

id be very surprised if you see anyone just wholesale dumping gear that still works (how many receivers/ transmitters must some of the big companies have... i have over 20 and im tiny)
but as people buy new gear, they will be buying into the new D band gear.

see how the cookie crumbles when it does
