Portable Recorder (Zoom H4N variety)

My trusty old Zoom H4N seems to be feeling the effects of working in remote and hostile environments.

So, I am looking at purchasing another recorder. Given the nature of how I use it I really need an all in one device with options of using external microphones, with phantom power.

I don't want to go up to a bigger unit (such as Sound Devices with external mics) but am happy to be paying more than what a Zoom costs for some improved quality.

I wonder if anyone had any recommendations of a similiar style unit but with better (i.e quieter) preamps than the Zoom but still as portable and easy to use. The ease of use is important for when I run workshops etc.
