thanks to the forum in general...

Postby Linear » Wed Dec 11, 2013 8:59 am

in the last 3 weeks I've called out 2 reasonably big favours and both times people I don't really know have come through to help.

Steve Lindsay (whom I've met) has generously lent me his Radial mic splitter box - and even arranged it so I could pick it up in Sydney.

Tony (whom I haven't met) picked up and boxed a pair of monitors in Brisbane so I could arrange a courier.

I've been in on a lot of forums on the inter webs, and this one actually stands out as a community.

Thanks to all and I owe the board a few favours!

Cheers

Chris

totally agree chris!
its a great group of people here, and am amazed by not only the knowledge, but the general effort to help out.
i certainly chip in whenever i can, and it seems that most others do to.
makes for a great place for everyone.

Well Chris, I'd say that you've contributed a great deal of help to us less gifted forum members in the form of regular how-to's and general sound (!) advice, and I for one would be glad to help out if and when required.

Karma, I reckon…long may it reign! Best forum ever!

I too have valued, appreciated and loved this forum community. Lots of excellent hookups, discussions, sales, purchases, advice sessions etc etc. There are many times I have turned to this board because people are people and not full of BS even if occasionally we get opinionated… Thanks to Rick and thanks to all who are here, I'm looking forward to a bbq when I'm back on the land.
