Had to share this one.
A nice look inside Funkhaus Berlin. A piece of East German precision.

A couple of good (originally Australian) mates of mine Sam Vine and Will Russell have a recording studio in this building. It looks incredible. They've told me of a few pretty exciting prospects for some of the unused spaces there...

Let me find out if they're OK with me putting it on the net at this stage. Don't get too excited its not that crazy but I just want to make sure I'm not ruining any launch plans they might have.

Wow, amazing rooms, they don't make them like that anymore.
I love the fifties.

I could do with that controlled humidity room now! I'm recording some early classical music by a Viol player. The viol is simmiler to a cello but with moveable gut fretts and gut strings. Constant humidity and temperature are critical to tuning. I'm wondering if any studio was ever built in Australia to the standard of that Funkhaus main room?
