If it's not a scam it's a super bargain, anyway If I had the cash it would be on it's way, 3 days ago, as it's most likely not a scam. If the Kiwi's are anything to go by this thing would be a great mic to have.

Do not think its a scam he brought two just recently for cheaper US$999 and US$1155.
Its the old buy cheap try and sell on if you do not like. If you check the feedback you see items brought then sold.

Not to say the items are over priced. Just he got some good bargains to start with

i'm sure those blue mics are as good as everyone is saying but seriously, who's spending good money on a mic called the cactus? their marketing department has some work to do.

hmmm, kiwi or cactus? perhaps if the kiwi just wasn't quite so, ummm, green....

man, i like blue's style. they don't seem to take it all too seriously. - i do own a ball and a mouse though - i think they're one of the only newish mic companies that aren't just copying old models (well, at least they aren't putting old model numbers in their new model's name's). i like old stuff as much as anyone, but good new stuff is nice once and a while...

Just get a tin of spraypaint, any colour you like, heh. Yeah it sure is an ugly mic and the kiwi's are very green but they sound sublime.

Yeah exactly, they do retail here for $5000 the cactus. Nothing wrong with making a few bucks either if you have the cash to play, it's still a great price.

New or old, if it's good it's good. How are you liking the mouse Todd?

dig the mouse man. it gets a really cool vocal sound (on male vox). takes really well to high eq boosting. haven't had a chance to use it on a drum tracking session yet, but wouldn't mind trying it on snare and in front of the kit down low and backed off... btw, it looks so cool...
