Just in case anyone was wondering... they were awesome!!!!!! Woohoo! What a show! What a great band! I was lucky enough to work my way up to arms reach of the barrier. Seeing them that close was great and feeling the heat from the fireworks was quite incredible.

yeah I saw them in Melbourne on Wed night.. great show. saw them also in 1992 on their last tour!

Sound was awful in melbourne - but the band was great and really energetic. I can't believe Bruce Dickinson (yes "the" bruce dickinson) is over 50 - he's more energetic than most 20 year olds I know! A great frontman!

looking forward to Ozzy in March!!! I'm still tossing up whether to catch The Black Crowes and W.A.S.P. who are also touring soon. I want to see both but the extra $200+ can be spent elsewhere at the moment!

Rock on!
Geoff

P.S. I hope someone "got" the More Cowbell reference above!!

Damn straight, drove back to Canberra after the show on Saturday night. After a sleep and some lunch we almost decided to head back up for the Sunday show. It had sold out, probably a good thing from a financial viewpoint!
