I picked up one of the MK IIs for a really good price (I thought how bad could it be.... Haven't had the sessions to really put it through its paces, but on first listening to a wannabe Leona Lewis (ugh), it's quite nice.

What are the chances of that happening audioio? Two companies with almost the same name, developing almost the same product, with almost the same logo/badge. The whoa?

either way i can guarentee that no turtlerock data base has ever been used or will ever be used or given to a third party for marketing purposes

now if you have your phone number on your web site ( dont we all _) i can only assume they are being proactive with sales

I think it depends on how you look at it.
If someone had a sale on and I used their product I would like to know what specials are happening.
We do a lot of printing in our business. If the wholesalers did not keep us informed of what specials they had, I would not be able to pass that added on value to our customers. This keeps our return customers happy. Hence I can buy more music gear.
It just all depends on how you look at it!

I wouldn't call this an example of cold calling sales inquiries, but rather following warm sales leads as Ben has arrived in the marketplace with his product
to this level only recently and this is one way of establishing his presence. I would love to have a listen to some of his mics with the prospect of purchasing one.
.....and i really hope his business becomes established for the long term............speaking of the long term, when's this CS1 gunna arrive?

Way to bring the thread back on topic Chris. Man I really like what those guys are doing with their style of 'folk' (is it folk? It sounds like soul/fusion chord structures or something), great chord inversions etc. And accents.
I'd love to record that accordian player. With a CS-1 of course.

i got some masters sent from canada on monday... today ! (weds)

btw if you ever buy anything and the reason the seller gives you for the delay is

I just can't believe they are sent. He would have emailed me and confirmed the shipping address. He would then have quoted me shipping and I would have paid. These things just have not happened. I can't work out why he posted that comment on PSW. and besides, my PayPal address is a P O Box. Fedex doesn't deliver to them.

I'm still awaiting his reply.

i am trying to teach my 4 year old the virtues of patience , if he could read this thread it would probably give him a better argument then ... "why"
