Angus the Mahalia sounds veiled and masked.While a U67 does sound relatively dark in comparison to something like an M49.It still exhibits a certain degree of definition and clarity.

Are you 100% sure the mic is healthy?

I'm thinking it maybe the combination of the V72 and the Mahalia, but it does sound very dark.
