AEA's TRP and RPQ preamps were designed by Fred Forssell.
Whillst the general topology of these preamps is fairly conventional, they do feature some very high spec parts and have a higher than typical input impedance. Perfect for extracting the best performance from ribbon mics whilst still working well for condensors and dynamics.
