i see payments due today. is there any recourse for jumping in late, now that i have [some] money?

LMAO.................I was PM'd by someone here a while back and essentially chastised for mentioning the pricing, something I found to be perversely humourous considering the GB pricing was being freely passed around the w w w through PM's and emails, etc.

I'll let you know once I hear them.........

;-)

It's a shame you missed this one. There will be a big announcment from Chance in a few months once this has all settled down. I suspect these will become a regular event.

Cheers

i was not only out of cash, but feeling very burnt by the Fabio DOA group buy. took 2 years from payment to reciept of the DOA's, and they have been mangled in the post.

but i wish i had'a caught this one.

le sigh.

This is my first GB. With some large reputations being placed on the line I find it hard to imagine DOA. Having said that, with all these things, you should only gamble what you are prepared to lose.

Cheers

Chance's comment was this - maybe someone else who is in on the group buy would like to amend their order to include 2 of the ACMP-73 pre's for me?

anyone not actually paid yet, who might be prepared to do so? if so, let me know the total amount (in AUD) and i can do an immediate electronic funds transfer to an account of your specification.

please let me know - i'll be lurking in hope.

(respect to all those who made in on time)

Anyone here got a shipping invoice yet?

Postby SteveL » Tue Oct 21, 2008 2:16 pm

Just resurrecting this thread and wondering if any members here who ordered any of the pres or mics in the group buy have received a shipping invoice yet? The mics and pre's (2 container loads) have now all been delivered in California, the invoicing has been a bit buggy it sounds like. Folks in the USA are now getting deliveries...... we shouldn't be too far behind. The mics and pres are apparently solidly built, heavy and delivered well-packed, so wondering what this will mean to eventual shipping costs from LA to Australia given the dive in the dollar. First one who gets a shipping invoice, let me know. I ordered an ACMP-73 pre and an ACM-1200 tube mic.

They put my shipping invoice up and its now paid, so just waiting for it to be shipped. The user console indicates when the items are shipped. Chance has told me its all packed and ready to go.
I'm just getting mics so maybe its 1st cab off the rank.
