Any suggestions, folks? I just scored me a 1926 iron frame Beale that needs some TLC.

i also have a 20's beale and it was well worth the money to get it restored
but bear in mind some piano guys who dont know better hate the iron frame so you might have to hunt around for the right guys
the advantage of that piano is the aaa grade sitka spuce sound board and the larger frame ( more bass better highs )
we re did the action and the felts and case and it cost $3000 all up
but it sounds like it cost $20k +
the guy that did mine about 5 years ago was
glen ? from piano tech ( surry hills) he sourced the piano for me so that he had the right model to work with then
delivered it fully reworked
i dont have a current number but i think he
is still around .
if your stuck after a hunt call me and i will go through my tax records ( if i must ) and find him
