St Kilda Traingle site developement - recording studio?

Hey Melbournites - the St Kilda traingle site where the Palais and palace are is going to be developed into a mega entertainment area. It's a block from my place and in the local paper it says it's going to include a recording studio. Does anybody know anything about it like who, where, why etc?

this is some info i saw today - doesn't really say anything about who - other than "BBC Consortium"...

"Melbourne's Port Phillip council spent no time in moving forward once the Palace issue was settled. It announced that the successful bidder is Melbourne financiers Babcock & Brown and Sydney developer CITTA (aka BBC). A number of music venues will be part of the Golden Triangle. London's Ministry of Sound is setting up a club here, as is Sydney's jazz club The Basement. The Palace has closed but its bandroom will continue as a 1,500-capacity Triangle Band Room. Honkytonks, relocating from the city with a new take on the Palais de Danse, which was originally located on the site. Pash is a new nightclub set up by Darren Thornburgh, owner of Boutique.

The BBC consortium will spend $20 million on the Palais Theatre. It will have new management, with a 3,000 seat live entertainment (with a 350-seat cinema mode), recording studios at the back of the Palais and improved forecourt area. Arthouse movie exhibitor Dendy Flms will have a six screen cinema complex at the new triangle site. There'll also be promenades and walkways rambling through eating and drinking spaces, art installations, 181 retail outlets and open grassy spaces, a boutique hotel, a hospitality training school, a basement supermarket, a gym, and 1150 car spaces. The project should be finished in three years."

Makes sense tying it into the Palais. I wonder who's doing it? I'm thinking about getting a coffee stand there.....
