Studer 980??

Has anyone had any experience with the Studer 980?
I am considering buying one for a studio i am setting up. I really cant find much info on it.
I dont doubt that its a good sounding console, what i am most concerned about is maintenance, re campping etc.
any insight would be super helpful!
