4 track mixes tricks?
I've got this record to mix which has been (artificially) restricted to 4 tracks with the intention of mixing it from just 4 outs from PT into a console.
It's mostly guitar, vocal, harmony + stuff.
I'm finding so far there's a lot of space for bigger than usual vocal verbs and doubling / delays to widen guitars / fill out the image - but a bit of a risk of comb filtering.
I was wondering if anyone's got any good tips for getting maximum impact out of minimum means?
