STUDER A827 for dummies

Postby tonymite » Wed Jan 16, 2008 2:29 pm

I finally got some tape for me recently aquired Studer A827 and all I got is the technical manual and not the " for dummies" manual. Now, with the Remote/Autolocator the transport controls won't let me control the machine but the machine lights up the transport buttons on the remote/autolocator. ALSO - I arm tracks or engage them in input /ready ... and can not get a signal to pass through, ie: the VU meter doesn't jump up - nor do I hear audio passing through the input/output - I'm geussing it's me and not the machine, some memory / setting.
Any pointers greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Very Happy to be here:)

not sure if this is a operation or service manual in this list, but this is all that you'll get out of Studer
