Studio Monitors

Postby Kris » Fri Mar 21, 2008 8:33 pm

I used to have a pair of Quested VS2108's.... sold 'em here but really miss them.

I'm moving to a slightly bigger room and will have enough space for speaker stands again and would like a good pair of active monitors. I still use my KRK V6's but would like something similar to the 2108's,

Any ideas?

I quite like the sound of the BAM1's from JLM. If anyone has a pair for sale.....

Just brought another pair of 2108's after I sold mine. So I know how you feel they are nice speakers. Quested's come up from time to time secondhand.
There were a pair of Adam's going second hand recently do not know if they sold.

Haha - sorry mate I couldn't resist.

Actually I was working with a band today and using some cheap monitors and was trying to explain to the guy who owned them in a nice way why they weren't that great (which he already understood). Nastiness in the 3-4k region which I kept going to turn down and then had to remind myself "it's the monitors". Glad to bring the tracks back to my place and finish work on them.
