Postby TimS » Fri Mar 28, 2008 2:50 pm

Title says it all..
I cant see them on the website, but plenty of 500 series stuff to go..
I've decided to go the 500/lunchbox route..

Apparently the lunchbox is an API 6B with the mixer module on the end but JLM are working on something.

Do they (JLM) make lunchboxes?
Not at this moment but they are about to build some soon. It will be at a good price as well
Joe is in the middle of moving into a new building so things might be a little slow at the moment.
If you don't have his phone number just send him a mail, he'll answer it pretty quickly.

JLM PEQ500

Postby Aearth » Fri Mar 28, 2008 9:00 pm

Talking about Joe from JLM, this guy really knows his trade. I have been speaking to him over last couple of days and he's been telling me about all the goodies he has and all that is coming. I tell you guys save your money so you can buy some of this stuff, it's just awsome.
Of cause I bought some of his gear how can I resist.......just bought the PEQ500 module for my lunch box, it's a Pultec style EQ, small in size only. I have been looking for a EQ 500 series module for some time with reasonable results but nothing that has made me say WOW. Well WOW finally hit me with this PEQ500, sonically to me, it's a cross between a Tube-Tech and a Murcury EQ-P1 but about 1/2 of the cost. Yeh I know these are tube and the JLM isn't, go figger.
Anyway I was so impressed I bought another one.

Thanks for the offer nIC.
Peter & I are probably going to swing by Heath's place tomorrow prior to the gig @ Manly Fisho's and check his 500 gear..
I'm a little tied up in the morning with kids swimming lessons and a lawn that hasnt been mowed for 3 weeks!!
