Hey I bought this item off ebay last week and cant contact the bloke.
His name is Sum Cheng on the Gold Coast.
He was advertising heaps of studio gear.
I would hate to think it might be a scam because of a few technical difficulties.
His ebay name is analoguesynth and here are his items for sale
http://search.ebay.com.au/_W0QQsassZanaloguesynth
Has anyone had any experience with this guy as he has sold some great studio stuff off just recently and I would not want tarnish his good feedback?
Cheers

Its hard to say without actually hearing the details of the transaction. Have you paid him for gear? If so, how long ago?
There is a note in his feedback suggesting that he might actually be in Hong Kong at the moment on business...

I think he's the guy selling the Sony 3348 machine. He just cut $2k off the original list price.

Hi Dale,
He's re-advertised some stuff last night...looks legit to me (with a nose like mine I usually smell the bad ones ;-)
Was it the Demeter you bought ??

Yes I bought the Demeter. I though it could be a good addition as I play bass a little bit. I even thought about bypassing an amp on stage and just using a custom setup with this in mind. I have an old Trace elliott AH500 head which weighs a tonne and takes a big speaker to power it. But it sounds so nice I cnat bring myself to sell it off just yet. Apparently there seems to be a resurgence in prices on older Trace Elliott gear. NOt too sure it its just kids who want the UV fluro tube glow thing thats built into them. Nice touch as it brings up the tick on the Nike shoes really nicely.
Cheers

Yes through the mighty (or unmighty which side of thefence you sit on) Paypal.
I have filed a claim and am just waiting it out. Though I think it should be alright as other people seemed to have received their gear they bought a couple of weeks ago. I just thought someone might have known this bloke.

You say it's only been a week? I have been that slow before, both as a buyer and a seller. Yeah, I know, I know...
