Well, I had the great opportunity to be asked to be the Pro Tools engineer on the live recording of the Pennywise (USA) DVD last night at the Luna Park Big Top.
4 international acts - Bowling For Soup, The Vandals and SUM 41 culminating in the Pennywise show..
It was punk and loud and a good show.
Special big thanks goes out to nIC (aearth) for directing the video company my way - many many thanks mate.. They were estatic with the result and we captured the direct outs from the D-Show desk - sweet as and ready for edits and mixing..
Cheers nIC, I really appreciate you getting them to contact me,
Tim..
Extra special thanks to Peter (tunetown) who was my super assistant and general all-round Mr Cool.

the only raise your getting PK is totally under your own control ,
slip your hand below that nice office office chair i gave you and look for the little black lever - give it a pull when you think your ready for it :)

Carefull or you might get sent out for some striped paint, a long weight and a left handed screw driver.

Be careful though, that lever makes it lower too.

my toolbox has a labeled drawer for screwdrivers and on the left of the drawer, a label for 'left handed screwdrivers'

hasn't fooled anyone yet but got a laugh from my mechanically minded friends...

This is totally unfair. PK has made only 5 posts and has 5 tubes lit up.
Make him sit on the floor.

Oh yeah, bunnings have them cheap.

Reminds me of my first job, the boss got me with the long weight gag, though I got one better, one day he came to me and said with a look of urgency "can you go get some date rolls we've run out", I said yep no problem won't be a sec, anyway after getting back from the cake shop and handing him a bag I say," they had the date rolls but were out of randy tarts in case you wanted one, I know you like them too".

He was not amused, newspaper anyone?
