Hey,

Was just on the AT website, and they are letting you download issue 60 for free !!!

I was down in Humfreys in Manly looking for it this morning, jumped on the alchemedia site
to see when it was due, and there was a link to download the whole thing for free.

I'll still end up buying it, so I have a hard copy, but still was very impressed.

The link is: http://www.alchemedia.com.au/PDF/AT60.pdf

interesting point about how those who paid for a subscripton might feel.

I was enthusiastic when i downloaded the pdf, and wanted to hop straight into reading the article about JLM. So i propped myself up in bed with my laptop and the pdf loaded to read.

Its a pain in the arse...sure i could read the article but this was no where near as an enjoyable experience as reading a paper magazine...having to break the flow to jiggle with the scroll bar to find the next paragraph...erk

maybe i'm old school, but i was relieved when i found AT stuffed in the letterbox this morning.

i agree with u rob...

we spend enough time working on PC's...lurking forums....chatting to folks online...its nice to sit on a couch and read a mag in the sun....i think thats more "human" than it is old fashioned! :P

Laptop on a bus as opposed to a magazine. Magazine wins every time.

A rolled up AT is really handy for smashing mosquitoes you see on the wall with too. Do not attempt this with your laptop.
