Inspired by REAM, anyone out this way want to get together?
We could be Turtlerockers Unite: North East To Outer West Network
or Artists in Upper Sydney: Rick's Other Club Knockabouts
but that's too long: maybe just Rick's Industry Club Knockabouts
How about Cherrybrook and Hills Region In Sound Production
Sydney Music And Sound Headquarters?
dammit Jamil, I tried to get something for JKHURI44 but it just didn't flow.
Someone please report me to the Council to Outlaw Contrived and Outrageous Acronyms.

Mike - so long as you don't want an acronym made up for you! Welcome aboard.
Tentatively, lets set aside some time in the arvo, a week on Saturday. Venue and timing to be settled later, but suggestions and comments welcome. I'd be thinking of getting together just 3 or 4 times a year to talk shop, play with any toys anyone wants to share, that sort of thing. We could even have a listen to Jamil's vocals if he ever got his protools talking to his 002.

Okey dokey
North Out to Regions West Engineers of Sound: Turtlerockers (NORWEST) is in session.
Lets get democratic, so vote for ....
(1) Coffee and biscuits at a coffee place, Sat arvos
(2) Beer and chips at a local pub, Sat arvo or night
(3) Wine and cheese at someone's place, some other time.
I'm thinking initially lets get together this coming Saturday arvo for an hour or so, just to get some names to faces. Venue and time to be sorted. Rick, you're out Epping way, aren't you? Want to play?

In the dining area, they've got a great log fire there if its cold.
