Head Demagnetiser

Does anybody have a head demagnetiser somewhere in the vicinity of Newtown? I have a space echo which hardly gets any regeneration. Thirteen had a thorough look over it and changed many of the capacitors, thanks Thirteen! Short of changing all the capacitors I've changed the tape and the pinch roller and made some recommended adjustments but it's still not getting much feedback so this is the last thing I can think of. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

magnetised heads are unlikely to be the source of lack of feedback

if you are getting good level off the 3 repro heads then lack of feedback could mean an electronic fault or is there an adjustment for feedback level in there?...hang on just had a look at the manual ... VR12 is the internal trim for setting the max feedback level. This possibly could be it, or a wire broken of the intensity pot or....

I will be in town Friday over at Leichhart, if you want to drop it in I will take a look at it on the weekend. I can't believe that someone sold you a tape echo with a piece of heatshrink tube over the pinch roller... Gotta love e-bay. Now that it has a decent tape and roller I will look for any electronic issues.

That would be great, I'll be around on Friday eve if you call on your way through. You know, 2 times I've been impulsive with buys on Ebay and both times I've regretted it but hey in the end it still sounds great. I know people who would spend more money on a night out so there's got to be worse habits. Thanks for your insight too Rob.
