That's Battery Studios in New York. Man, those big old traditional "hotel studios" are dropping like flies. Which is surprising considering most of their gear is probably fully depreciated anyway, so just running costs must be killing them.

That or the real estate is now too valuable... Someone once said that studios are really in the real estate business.

The way our dollar was going I was hoping $5 would have translated to a barrow full of USD but...... dammit, 88c and falling.

Glad I imported the German gear when I did.

If they turn on the Hadron Collider and HAARP at the same time it's going to get like a Simpsons Halloween episode or a bad Tron remake....

HAHA, I agree.

That HAARP thing is scary, makes me wonder why the North Pole is faring much worse than the South Pole. Have you seen that documentary on HAARP and how they are using technologies Tesla was playing with?

This thing can change the weather supposedly, creates it's own auroras and raises the upper atmosphere many kilometres into space when they use it in certain ways, they are pumping many gigawatts of power into the atmosphere and in turn heating the upper atmosphere. These guys are'nt smart, they are f'ing idiots.

Smart is when you discover something is dangerous and then leave it alone, these guys are like kids playing with matches.

No real bargins to be had (as to be expected too), it seems that Vintage King got all the Pultecs for US5K+ each, I spoke with a friend in Chicago whilst the auction was on and everything was going for Evilbay US prices, 800 for PCM 70's, 6-7k for the U67's, 1k+ for PCM42's, 7.5k for the u47's, 1800-2200 for the 192's, 2200-2400 for the RMX16's.

Ah well, auctions just ain't what they used to be!
