I'm wiring patchbays into the backs of my racks, and I'm looking for something to dustproof and waterproof the rear of the XLR panel mount sockets (instead of just having bare wire).

Neutrik have just the thing -

Farnell lists them but has no Oz stock.

Anyone know of a supplier or an alternative in Oz?

Tinged with the fear of necessity. I take my racks on the road to a whole variety of situations and venues, and so I'm looking to minimise the opportunity for hassles as much as anything.

Plus, they do make an unslightly mess look more professional.

Howard at Studio Solutions has them if anyone else wants to follow suit.

Ah! Heatshrink and rubber boots can cover a multitude of soldering sins.
