howdy - is tontine fairly rigid? ie can a large sheet hold its shape unsupported?

Acoustisorb 3 - 50 x 2400 x 1200mm can stand up vertically by itself - just - and acoustisorb 2 can lean against a wall with just a couple of tacks in it, but neither are what I'd call rigid like some of the fibreglass boards (can't think of the name of them at present).

You only need a light frame to fix or suspend them however...

thanks guys. i have looked at john's forum.. almost too much info there!

i do notice the noobs getting flamed a lot there, i frankly i just don't have the time to sift thru even the basic info / stickies.

besides, i kinda like the idea of picking at the local brains that dwell around these parts:)

There is plenty lying around here ( in use ) next time your about track me down and I will give you the 5 min lesson in tontine
I belive ATt controls in melbourne are now studio guys connection for tontine
