Any one seen the Golden Age Project PRE 73?

Very similar to the Chance group buy but this has no EQ and RRP for USA $299.
Sounds very interesting.

It's red and cool looking. I might be up for a gamble?

I dunno why they had to put the word vintage on it when it's brand new. Unless they were aged 20 years. :)
Did anyone get thier group buy stuff yet anyway, out of interest?

Nope. I don't think Chance has done any overseas orders yet. I won't be doing another group buy anytime soon. There sounds like some grief with the ACMP pre's.
Cheers

I only bought some mics, apparently there is a god almighty hum in some of the pres when you switch in the EQ module. I have nothing yet, but there was a huge number of people involved and the stuff is going out, but I imagine closest members get their stuff first.

Sound character that is warm, punchy, sweet and musical.
How could I not not buy one?
That said, I'm going to wait for V2 - it adds sexy.

Is there anything in the world that sounds nice and does not have to be Neve sounding.

Warm, punchy, sweet and musical? - that's not a preamp, thats Sing-Along Elmo! I want my preamps cold, calculating, cruel and cynical.
