hi
who can fix MCI multi tracks in Sydney?
I was told some places in the past but they seem to be gone now.
Its just a few of the input and cue switches that arn't working.
Any help would be awsome.

I seem to remember Gunther Wagner doing some work on MCI's in the 80's but I could be mistaken. Maybe email him...

Steve Crane at Signal to Noise will do it if he is back from his Neve stint in the UK! Lucky bastard!

Also John Mulligan at Studiotech. The only MCI factory trained tech in the country to my knowledge, at least up until MCI became part of Sony.

From (distant) memory, the record and cue relays at the back of the drawer used to give problems. You could try swapping between channels to see if the fault follows, perhaps.
