Hi

I have been hanging out to receive it also. I was thinking that under the current economic climate, they took my money and ran.

I was thinking of giving Sally Holder a call - but havnt yet.

We dont have much in our lives.
Cant afford Sound on SOund online esubs anymore.
Tape op subscription has just run out.
Library does not stock this type of magazine.
And a $10 ticket to travel to Borders for a couple of hours to read the mags is now out of the question.

Ah Chris, it's my favourite time of the month when AT arrives - keeps me busy for at least 4-5 weeks of reading after I get it..

I subscribe to "performing musician" also.

For those of you who are muso's aswell as engineers, its a pretty interesting read. Some industry stuff aswell. A bit too much on P.A's and stuff which for my taste is a bit "yawn".

Its made by the guys that make sound on sound.

He's safe. Long way from the action. Probably smokey there though, god knows it has been here for the last week.
He's probably held up writing little N's on a bunch of tile spacers....

Everyday, I get home from work, and ask my wife "did I get my audio technology mag" she says "no, but I got my Country Style mag", then I feel dejected.

Got mine today from a papershop in East Maitland. Too much bloody live sound, not enough recording stuff this edition (yes I know sometimes you have to please other people and their particular tastes), but page after page of boring comment about live gig set-ups, give me a break!
Nothing I have read so far explains the tardiness of distribution this time around. not a problem for me, I buy it when I see it.

Perhaps it takes a little longer to get to Tamworth.

I thought, that if you subscribed you usually got it before the paper shops. That is disappointing!

And live sound...hmmm.

And no explanation about tardiness!

so who's going to give their thoughts on ricks article first?.... :)

PostPosted: Mon Mar 09, 2009 7:37 pm

i'll go first ... martin and his boss told ME about moog/vogue
there..... happy martin :)

my boss?! careful :P

we can get all technical - cause moog is a dutch name, pronounced with much more gutteral spitting gross-ness than the lovely soft german 'vouge' - should really be 'moke' with a big spit golly on the K

feel free to add the correction in the next article
