Hey All,

A small group of friends/associates of mine are working at creating a local music website. We will be doing things like band reviews, Album/EP/Single reviews, Venue/promotor reviews and Artist/Industry people interviews with a focus on the independant local scene in Sydney.

At the moment we are working on building up content and we're looking at getting a couple more contributors. I'll be writing for the site myself. Just thought I would put it out there on here to see if anyone who catches a lot of Indie bands or follows the scene might like to contribute. Articles should be well written, entertaining, HONEST and fairly brief..

At the moment we are just doing Sydney but we are looking to expand to Melbourne and Adelaide etc.

Hopefully if all goes well we can give the local live scene a kick up the arse and get rid of some of the bad band culture ie. Pay to play, lack of support from band to band. etc. While at the same time providing a forum for local muso's and promotors etc. to have their say (forum community)... And if it doesn't take off, it will be a good laugh anyway.

Anyway who is interested to contribute let me know. Also, if you know any Indie bands worthy of a review shoot me some details. We don't want to be posting negative reviews, but we won't be pulling any punches and bands will be judged on various criteria to keep it fair. ie. for a gig review bands will receive a 5 star rating for orgininality, stage presence, hookiness, etc etc. and then an overall rating...

Its all still a work in progress and the site will not launch until we have a decent amount of content.
