2192 converter won't sync with mbox pro

Hey guys,

Just have some issues syncing a 2192 convertor up with an mbox pro at 88.2khz. The mbox pro can go up to 96khz. The converter works fine at 48 and 44.1.

My set up is this - two JLM pres going into the converter via XLR. Spdif out of 2192 and into my mbox pro and spdif out of my mbox into the 2192.

Using an Imac 2.33ghz intel core2 Duo with 2 gig of ram. Using Pro Tools 8. Whenever I try and change the clock source to SPDIF it says 'the external clocks source is at a different sample rate than the current session. Please check to see if the external device is set to the correct sample rate, or select a different clock source.'

On the 2192 the clock source is set to internal, sample rate is set to 88.2, analog output is set to ADC, top button is in and bottom button out which says spdiff, digital output is set to ADC

I have an overdub session tomorrow and the session was tracked at 88.2 so in a bit of a pickle.

Cheers

Simple google and look at digidesign:

* Supports up to 24-bit/96 kHz resolution**
* 6 simultaneous inputs/8 simultaneous outputs
* 4 analog inputs (2 XLR/1/4â€
