Vale Robert Findlay
Posted: Wed Jun 24, 2009 4:09 pmIt is with unspeakable sadness and the profoundest regret that I have just learnt of the death of Robert Findlay. Apparently Robert was diagnosed with lung cancer just 5 weeks ago. His funeral was held this morning. It must have been Judy's wish to keep this private, for I do not think that anyone knew about this beforehand.
Those of us who knew Robert hardly need to be reminded of what a kind, generous and thoughtful man he was. I doubt I ever met a better person.
